The Smart Písek office has already prepared the second annual weekly event called "Hlava v Písku"  for the beginning of October. It took place from October 3 to 7 and its goal was to show the public a different side of the city. "Hlava v Písku" offered a unique opportunity to visit a number of places under the administration of the city, which are normally not accessible. The program included, for example, tours of the Písecké mountains on the topic of "Restoration of the Písecké forests after the bark beetle disaster", the polytechnic center at the T. Šobra primary school and craft workshops at the Svobodná primary school or the completed system of Purkratic ponds. It was also possible to visit the Fráni Šrámek theater, the anti-atomic shelter in the Portyč cinema or the Písek Heating Plant," said Terezie Hroudová from the Smart Písek office.

The program consisted of a tour to the composting plant near Smrkovice, the waste sorting plant at the Vydlaby landfill, an excursion to a small hydroelectric power plant near the Wenceslas Dam, and an open day at the Písek fire station. Hlava v Písku also featured a lecture by journalist Jiří Nádoba, who works for the weekly magazine Respekt, on the topic "Do you trust the media?" in the city library.
