On Friday, June 6, 2023, the first day of the "Písecké Festivities 2023", our office prepared a stand in cooperation with Sladovna Písek in Palackého sady. We adapted the activities at the stand to appeal to all generations.
You could already see us from 10 o'clock in the morning in Palackého sady on the outskirts of the post office. We joined forces with Sladovna Písek and tried to involve you and your little ones in our projects and activities. We have presented you with the projects we are currently working on. The stand was a great opportunity to discuss the new ReValue project, which we are collaborating with Sladovna Písek and which was created with the support of the European Commission from the Horizon Europe program (2021 – 2027), with those interested in Smart Písek offices. It focuses on sustainable development and urban planning for climate neutrality. You could also find out, for example, about the third year of the city's participatory budget and the possibilities to get involved in it. It was also possible to learn how to use Nextbike shared bikes or applications that make it easier for motorists to park in Písek.
Another activity was an artificial intelligence booth with a magic earpiece into which you could ask any question and read the answer, or a "wish tree" where you could hang any wishes regarding changes in the city. Sladovna Písek provided us with a beautiful building kit with bricks, with which both children and adults could build a city according to their imagination. We also presented you with the already well-known mobile application "Můj Písek", the main goal of which is to improve the city's communication with citizens and to provide constant up-to-date information about events in the city.
