In the early evening of Tuesday, June 20, 2023, the 2nd year of the event took place, organized by Smart Písek with the support of the City of Písek. Budding entrepreneurs presented their projects and business plans here. At the same time, they exchanged their experiences, gained new contacts and established partnerships.
A number of budding entrepreneurs presented themselves at the event and had the opportunity to establish new contacts. At the same time, they shared their story and presented their business. It was actually a demonstration of how the project Podnikni to! it brings results, and often entrepreneurs and students who have been inspired by this course have started businesses and stood on their own feet. Another bonus was that the participants had the opportunity to share their experiences (both good and bad) while learning and developing, as well as meeting experienced entrepreneurs.
The goal of the StartUp Pitch is a short presentation of start-up companies at various stages of development with the establishment of a new project, financing solutions in the early stages and a whole range of other interesting topics. Each of the presenters had exactly one minute to present their project, which comes from the word "pitch" (a short summary presentation that quickly and simply introduces a person, profession, product or service). One of the presenters, Mr. Lubomír Vrba, said: "I think it's really cool that even though Písek is not a big city, there is a community of entrepreneurs here that meets regularly. It's very nice that there is the space for that."
The event was a success, around 30 presenters took part and took away a lot of new thoughts and ideas. We hope to see you next year!
