Datum: 07.01.2022 Kategorie: Projects in progress

The project's goal is to implement an energy management system at the municipal level and inside managed organizations. What is ISO 50001?
ISO 50001 is a new international standard for energy management systems. The ISO 50001 certification standards offer a system that identifies areas with high energy expenditures, focuses on lowering these expenditures, and streamlines energy use - energy efficiency. It is the first global standard to follow EN 16001 (Energy Management System), and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) estimates that ISO 50001 can save up to 60% of the world's energy if implemented globally.

Smart Písek submitted for call 109, Priority Axis 4 - Effective Public Administration (https://www.esfcr.cz/vyzva-109-opz), and was awarded funding for its project (CZ.03.4.74 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 19 109 / 0016836), which will run from 1.4.2021 to 31.3.2023.

Energy management in Písek
The goal of the project is to implement an energy management system at the Psek Municipal Authority and the organizations it oversees. The city of Psek is responsible for over 200 buildings and lacks a centralized tool to manage their costs. As a result, the overhead is much larger than it otherwise would be. The formalization and execution of energy procedures, management, depth and automation of energy data collection, and their subsequent analysis will result in large savings by creating a dedicated energy position and its assistant.

What is the aim of this project ?
The project's major purpose is to install an energy management system and obtain ISO 50001 accreditation in the municipality of Písek. The city will be able to reduce property management expenditures by attaining this target and obtaining ISO 50001 certification.

Sub-objectives of the project include:
1) Introducing energy management into the company
2) Optimizing the energy management system
3)
Significant cost reductions as a result of the ISO methodology implementation.
